Global specialist satellite engineering company, ETL Systems, has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2007.
The 25 year old business was recognised for its outstanding growth in International trade as ETL Systems sells satellite equipment to both emerging and established markets across Europe, Asia and the US.
The strong business is located close to the BT earth station at Madley, and specialises in the design and manufacture of satellite signal handling equipment at its purpose built factory.
In addition to attending an important presentation by one of the Queen’s representatives, ETL Systems will also be allowed to fly the prestigious Award flag and use the coveted emblem on stationary, advertising and their products for the next five years.
“Winning the Queen’s Award is a huge honour and has been made possible by the dedication of all our staff. ETL Systems has now become one of the leading worldwide suppliers to broadcasters, satellite operators and defence customers. The Queen’s Award reflects the success of our new range of leading edge products, such as the Enigma Switch matrix, which are driving sales to all parts of the globe. Winning this is a great morale boost and gives us the recognition we need to impress our customers further.”
