ETL's Falcon² Frequency Converter range offers upconverters, downconverters, agile and block in a compact 1U GENUS modular chassis. Operating across Ka, Ku, K, C, X, L and IF-band spectrum and available as an indoor or outdoor unit.

Flexible module configurations allowup to four Falcon² conversion modules to be housed within the GENUS chassis. Depending on your requirements these could be all upconverters, all downconverters, or a mix of both. All modules are field-serviceable and replaceable including the hot-swappable dual redundant power supplies and CPU.

Superior RF performance and advanced cooling features, Falcon² positions itself as the preferred choice for teleports, earth stations, satellite operations, government and defence applications, telemetry, tracking, command, and high-resilience scenarios.

Field replaceable internal reference source and external reference inject port, enabling the user to utilise the latest referencing technologies. Falcon² has superior phase noise and enhanced spurious specifications.

Redundancy configurations (2+1 and 1+1) are also available within the converter chassis, meaning that a separate chassis for redundancy is not required.

Latest security software, Falcon² is equipped with SNMPv3 and HTTPS, helping to future-proof your ground segment.

In the unlikely event of failure, all active components can be hot-swapped. Including dual redundant hot-swap power supplies, field-replaceable CPU and HMI.

HOT-SWAP INTEGRATED REDUNDANCY

ETL's Falcon frequency converters are the only products on the market that offer hot-swap redundancy in the same 1U GENUS chassis. 2+1 or 1+1 redundancy configurations are available.
