ETL Systems has recently introduced Frequency Converters to their range of RF distribution equipment, to fully provide end-to-end RF solutions for the uplink and downlink chain.

KEY FEATURES

Falcon is ETL Systems new range of frequency up & down converters, available as agile or block in a range of operating frequencies. Housed in a compact 1U chassis.

Converters with integrated hot-swap 1+1 and 2+1 redundancy

Unlike other converter chassis' on the market, the Falcon range offers 1+1 or 2+1 hot-swap, integrated redundancy within the same 1U converter chassis.

Multi-Configurable

Choose a mixture of 5 up and down converters, agile and block with different operating frequencies. Options include Ka, Ku, K, C, X, L and IF-band frequencies.

Ultra Compact 1U

Save rack space with up to 5 hot-swap up, down, agile or block converters in our compact 1U high density chassis.

Each conversion chassis has 17 module slots, each converter module is 3 slots wide, each redundancy switch module is 6 slots wide.
Depending on the configuration the chassis can offer 5 modules in 1 chassis or 3 modules and 1 redundancy switch module.

Resilience

All active components within the chassis are either hot swappable or field replaceable by the user. The dual redundant power supplies are hot-swap as are the converter modules.

The HMI, CPU and internal 10 MHz reference source are field-replaceable.
